Hm, my personal opinion: Wood ElvesMostly because I never grew to like the horde-mechanics, not in Attila, not in Warhammer. I dabbled with the Chaos-Faction for a while, but it was a rather let-down-experience for me. You never feel like the big Storm of Chaos, instead more like the little wind blowing now and then, constantly sacking Norse-Towns, hoping you will eventually have the power to field a second horde.Chaos for me will only become worth playing once the Chaos Wastes are introduced, as some kind of playground to test your Chaos faction until you are ready to really unleash hell upon the world.Beastmen. I skipped that DLC for the above reasons.
Iobit uninstaller 8.3 serial key. Horde faction. Also I have to admit 'ugly evil' isn't really my thing anyway^^W-Elves? Fits my playstyle way more.
You turtle up in Athel Loren, and only have to care about building up the regions there. Originally posted by:The best DLC in my oppinon are the grave and the grim, and king and the warlord, not only because they are inexpesive but because it gives you really good regiments of renown units to help the 4 core races. That DLC went under my radar, but giving it a look it seems like pretty good value. I already have a mod for Renown units however, and from what I can tell those units are pretty similar to the ones in the DLC.So far I only gave Vampire Counts a real shot- I love how you can corrupt neighbooring provinces to give them attrition within their own territory. It just depends on your preferences.Chaos and Beastmen are both great if you enjoy horde factions (no cities, just armies roaming around sowing destruction). Wood elves were quite enjoyable for me as well. Norsca is great if you did not and dont plan on pre ordering Warhammer 2 (in which case its free anyway:)). Grim and grave and king and warlord are both wonderful since they give you regiments of renown as well as other goodies like unique starts and challenges for certain new lords. Blood is good if you like to zoom in and see your enemies (and sometimes your units) split in two, decapitated and so on.I own all the DLC and do not regret getting any of them.
Although one point that is worth making is that beastmen and wood elves are slightly more expensive since they have their own mini campaigns which pretty much nobody plays more than once and are really not all that owe inspiring. Depends what interests you. From the ones I own:I like VCs, so Grim & Grave is probably the one I've gotten the most 'use' out of.
Total War Warhammer Dlc List
Decent extra campaign lord and a few units. Far from a must-have, though.IMO, wood elves mini-capaign is boring, and thety're boring to play in the grand campaign because of their weak economy and turtle-based victory condition. But they're TONS of fun on the battlefield (skirmish/multiplayer) because they have many fast-moving units and require a lot of micro to play well. There's a high skill cieling.I own Norsa (from pre-ordering WH2), and they're kind of 'meh'. There are now 4 factions of big half-naked, muscular dudes (Beastmen, Chaos, Norsca, and Greenskins) and the orcs do it best.Blood actually looks very good and adds a lot to the graphics. Still pisses me off I had to pay $3 for something that should've been in the game, but it does make it feel much more warhammery and epic-looking.
